For the first time in what seems like a long time my ramblings post is not a gripe, complaint or whine. And that’s all because of a book.

Once again Tahereh Mafi has done it to me. She’s shredded me. Torn me apart. She took me on so many highs and lows that I’m worn out. Completely drained. My emotions are as raw as Juliette’s.

A little bird tweeted that Unravel Me is close to 500 pages! That’s 150+ more pages than Shatter Me! So much more Juliette, Adam, Warner and Kenji to love…

So when the new cover for Shatter Me was released i did not immediately fall in love with it. It was just so different… and i must admit i am a bit neophobic. Plus, me and the Juliette on the old cover have so much history, we have gone through so much together; i was not ready to toss her aside and embrace the shiny new Eye.

But everything changed when the Destroy Me cover was revealed. If Old Cover Juliette was standing between me and the Destroy Me cover i would have pushed her into a ditch to get my hands on it. I fell hard and fast for the cover.

When i looked at the two covers together i melted. I was bought and sold and thoroughly enjoyed by the pair of them and i didn’t think it could get any better…

And then along comes Destroy Me… and i was destroyed.

I adore the trio now, especially the tag lines. So i thought it fitting i should update my blog to celebrate the new covers:
